The CACFP At-Risk Program is a federally funded initiative in the United States to provide enrichment activities and programs to At-Risk Youth up to 18 years of age. DHF provides nutritious meals and snacks that are served to children in eligible afterschool programs, shelters, emergency shelters, and apartment communities. The program is designed to support the overall health and well-being of participants by promoting proper nutrition and reducing food insecurity.
At Risk Sites may operate at Licensed Childcare Centers, Licensed Afterschool Programs, Community Centers, and Apartment Communities, which provide adequate space and documentation to host participants.
We strive to create a nurturing space where at-risk children can receive guidance, support, and resources that empower them to overcome challenges and thrive both academically and personally.
