Summer Feeding

Summer Food Service Program: DHF Food Program has participated as a sponsor of the Summer Food Service Program for youth ages 18 and under. The Kidz Kafe Central Kitchen prepares nutritious lunches and snacks which are delivered daily to each site. Sites must have a site supervisor and be willing to comply with federal and state requirements. Sites are required to ensure participants are provided with enrichment activities and consume meals on-site. Meals must consist of one serving of milk, two or more servings of vegetables and/or fruits, one serving of grain or bread and one serving of meat or meat alternative.
